Flawless is back in briefcases and it is leaning all the way into the luxury lane. On-card ink, game-used swatches, and real gemstones are the core of the brand, and this season adds one more card per box so every hobby briefcase holds 11 cards. Ten of those are autographs or memorabilia. One is a gem card with a stone set into the card itself. The release is built for hit chasers, but the base set matters more than usual because every base card carries a diamond and a print run of 20.

What is new this year

  • Hobby boxes now contain 11 cards instead of 10.

  • Base cards are diamond-embedded and capped at 20 copies.

  • Segments inside the base checklist tell stories: Flawless Finales for last seasons, Flawless Firsts for milestone moments, Leaders, Championships, All-NBA, and more.

  • Triple and Quad Patch cards debut, alongside the Logoman, Dual Logoman, and Triple Logoman hunts.

  • Only game-worn memorabilia is used, including the first game-used jersey cards for the 2024-25 rookie class.

  • Booklets return with big patch windows, including Specialty Patch Autographs and a Derrick Rose career retrospective.

  • Gem bounties include 1-of-1 Emirates Cup cards that nod to the NBA in-season tournament.

Autographs and memorabilia highlights
Flawless keeps everything hard-signed. Sets to watch include Star Swatch Signatures, Flawless Flyers Autographs, Dual Championship Tags Autographs, and the always-loud Logoman Autographs. Dual Championship Tags also exist without signatures if you prefer a swatch-only display. With rookies now represented by game-used material, early team collectors get a true first run of jersey relics for the class.

Base with diamonds
The base checklist runs 200 cards and each copy has a diamond embedded in the card. Veterans fill numbers 1 through 95. Then the themed segments kick in. Flawless Finales closes the book on notable final seasons. Legends, All-Stars, Firsts, Leaders, Championships, and All-NBA round out the rest. Every base card is numbered to 20, with short color parallels layered on top. It is one of the rare high-end sets where a base card can be the centerpiece of a display.

Parallels at a glance
Veterans 1-95: base /20 with Gold /10, Emerald /5, Fuscia /3, Platinum 1-of-1.
Cards 96-200 use tighter color ladders by segment. Legends, All-Stars, Firsts, Leaders, Championships, and All-NBA mostly land at /10 plus low-numbered parallels where noted.

Names that jump off the base list
The veterans and stars list reads like an All-NBA ballot. Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, Luka Doncic, Anthony Edwards, and more. Rookies and recent draftees show up across the run, from Alexandre Sarr and Zaccharie Risacher to Donovan Clingan, Reed Sheppard, Rob Dillingham, and Bronny James Jr. Legends and Finals-era greats are woven through the themed segments, including Tim Duncan, Shaquille O’Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon, Allen Iverson, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Booklets and Logoman chase map
If you open Flawless for big showpieces, the booklet concepts and Logoman family are the north star. Triple and Quad Patch cards let you build a multi-window rainbow without autos. Logoman, Dual Logoman, and Triple Logoman cover the true grails. The booklet checklist adds personality with Specialty Patch Autographs and that Derrick Rose retrospective that spans his highlights across teams.

FOTL extras
First Off The Line boxes mirror hobby with 11 cards but add exclusives: one FOTL-only gem card and three FOTL-only memorabilia cards on top of the 10 hit total. If you want guaranteed low-numbered stones and swatches, this is the lane.

Practical buying tips

  • If you chase rookies, note that Flawless uses game-worn material, which gives early 2024-25 rookies a stronger patch pedigree than most releases.

  • For base collectors, every card is /20 with a diamond. Decide early if you want a team run or a player rainbow and budget for color parallels.

  • Booklets and Logoman pieces are case-level hunts. Group breaks can be a more approachable way to take a shot at those without committing to a full briefcase.

  • Condition still matters at this tier. Check gem windows for clarity, patch windows for clean stitching, and autograph ink for streaks or bubbling on thicker stock.
