Upper Deck, a global leader in sports and entertainment collectibles, proudly announces an exclusive autograph trading card deal with ice hockey sensation Macklin Celebrini. Following his official signing with the San Jose Sharks® on July 6 to a three-year, entry-level NHL contract, Upper Deck will exclusively produce Celebrini’s trading cards. This agreement includes the rights to use his name, image, likeness, and autograph on Upper Deck trading cards, featuring popular brands such as the Upper Deck Flagship Series, SP Authentic, and O-Pee-Chee-Platinum.

Macklin Celebrini, an 18-year-old phenom, was the first overall pick by the San Jose Sharks® in the 2024 Upper Deck NHL Draft™ on June 28. During his college career, Celebrini became the youngest player to win the Hobey Baker Award in his freshman year, recognizing him as the best college player in the country. His stellar 2023-24 season also saw him named the Hockey East Player of the Year, Hockey East Rookie of the Year, Hockey East Scoring Champion, and recipient of the Hockey East Three-Stars Award for scoring the highest number of points during the regular season.

“Macklin Celebrini is a standout talent, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our roster of hockey sensations,” said Upper Deck President Jason Masherah. “We’re committed to bringing fans even closer to their favorite NHL players, and the addition of Celebrini reflects our dedication to showcasing both seasoned legends and emerging stars. We’re proud to represent him at such an exciting time in his career and look forward to capturing his success on the ice once he makes his NHL debut.”

To celebrate this milestone, fans can start their Macklin Celebrini collection on Upper Deck e-Pack® with a limited edition Game Dated Moments card, available now until July 25 at 8:59 AM PST. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for additional Celebrini trading card products throughout the 2024-25 NHL season.
