Despite lacking the rights to issue basketball cards for the next few years, Topps is creatively leveraging its autograph agreement with basketball phenom Victor Wembanyama. The forthcoming Dynasty Baseball series will feature two unique cards adorned with Wembanyama's signature: a dual autographed card shared with MLB star Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and a distinctive patch card showcasing a replica of Wembanyama's baseball jersey. This patch card is particularly notable for including an illustration seemingly created by Wembanyama himself, featuring a spaceship and an extraterrestrial creature. This design pays homage to Wembanyama's "Alien" moniker, a nickname given to him by NBA superstar LeBron James.
