Topps is turning the spotlight on collectors with a one day celebration that rewards the simple act of carrying a trading card. Bring a card, show it at participating partners, and unlock small thank yous that range from discounts to stadium freebies. It is meant to be easy, fun, and a good excuse to visit your local shop or catch a game with fellow hobby people.
How it works
Grab a trading card before you leave home. For most offers any trading card is fine, some partner events ask for a Topps card tied to a specific team.
Visit participating locations on Saturday, September 20. Store hours and team event windows apply.
Flash your card at checkout or the promo table, then follow any instructions the partner provides.
Most items are while supplies last, first come first served, usually one per person. Bring ID if a store requests it for verification.

Planning tips for the day
Bring the right card
General retail discounts typically accept any trading card. Team events ask for a Topps card that matches the team hosting the activation. If you are heading to a ballpark, put the correct team card in a separate sleeve so you are not digging at the gate.
Map your route
Pins and stadium promos are first come, first served. If you want a pin, start at a Collector’s Clubhouse. If you want concession vouchers or mystery items, head to ballpark promo areas early and watch for signage.
Travel light, protect your cards
A slim binder page or a small card case makes flashing your card easy and keeps corners clean. Toss a couple of extra base cards in your pocket in case a friend forgets one.
Clarify the fine print at each stop
Some locations may set limits, exclude certain items from discounts, or require you to join a loyalty program at checkout. Ask before you line up so you make the most of your time.
Bring a new collector with you
This is a simple day to introduce a kid or a friend to the hobby. Let them pick a pack, teach them how to sleeve a card, and check out the supplies section together.
