This afternoon, Topps unveiled a limited edition 2025 Tokyo Series Topps Now release featuring a groundbreaking triple autograph card. Los Angeles Dodgers stars Shohei Ohtani, Roki Sasaki, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto have come together to create their first-ever collaborative 1-of-1 card, titled "Debut a Dodgers Teammates in Tokyo Series." This exclusive piece will be awarded to one lucky collector who secures their triple Topps Now offering.

In addition to the historic triple auto, both Ohtani and Sasaki are spotlighted on solo Topps Now cards from the season-opening Tokyo Series. The release also includes cards for Cubs rookie Matt Shaw, making his MLB debut, and Tommy Edman, who launched the first home run of the 2025 campaign. Notably, Sasaki's card captures his MLB debut performance—where he allowed one run over three innings, recording three strikeouts along with five walks and a hit allowed—while Ohtani's solo card celebrates his first home run of the season.

Topps has capitalized on the excitement of the Tokyo Series, which features some of baseball's premier Japanese talents and two of the league's most prominent franchises. The 2025 Topps Baseball Series 1 MLB Tokyo Series cards have garnered considerable attention, especially following a collaboration with renowned artist Takashi Murakami. This 100-card insert series includes vibrant base card variations adorned with a bright, floral design.

The announcement of the Ohtani-Sasaki-Yamamoto triple auto follows closely on the heels of news that a separate 1-of-1 dual auto card featuring Ohtani alongside Japanese baseball legend Ichiro has been pulled from production. Both cards are anticipated to command strong market value, highlighted by a /10 dual auto card featuring Yu Darvish and Yamamoto that sold for $750 on March 12.
