Robert Edward Auctions has kicked off its February Encore auction, showcasing an expansive online catalog that features a wide array of collectibles, from the earliest baseball cards of Old Judge to contemporary stars like Aaron Judge. Among the auction's standout items are a PSA EX-MT 6 graded 1934 R320 Goudey #37 Lou Gehrig and a 1948-1949 Leaf #3 Babe Ruth, also graded PSA EX-MT 6.

Early bidding saw a PSA 5 M116 Sporting Life Honus Wagner card surge to $17,000, indicating strong interest in rare and iconic sports cards. The auction also features cards from Ty Cobb, Frank Chance, and Chief Bender, all from the Sporting Life series, each backed with a blue background and graded PSA 2.

Other notable lots include a 1909-1911 T206 White Border Ty Cobb Portrait with a Red Background and a Tolstoi Back, graded PSA VG-EX 4, and a complete set of 1986-1987 Fleer Basketball cards, all graded PSA NM-MT 8. Collectors of vintage hockey will be intrigued by the 1985-1986 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Unopened Wax Box, promising potential for a Mario Lemieux rookie card.

The auction doesn't just cater to card collectors but also features unique memorabilia like a 1954 New York Giants World Series Game 1 Ticket Stub, graded PSA FAIR 1.5, commemorating Willie Mays' famous catch.
