In the Huggins & Scott Spring Auction, a noteworthy T206 Sherry “Magie” error card takes center stage among over 1,600 lots. This card, misprinted with outfielder Sherry Magee's name, is a rare collector's item due to the swift correction of the mistake, leaving only a few error cards in circulation. It stands alongside other T206 rarities such as the Honus Wagner, Eddie Plank, and Doyle NY Nat’l cards. Additionally, the auction unveils a trio of 1910 Baltimore News Orioles cards, scarce remnants of an early schedule-card set precursor to Babe Ruth's first card in the 1914 BN set.

Collectors will also find a selection of pre-war gems like a 1934 World Wide Gum Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig cards, an 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter Mike “King” Kelly, an 1888 N28 Allen & Ginter John Montgomery Ward, and a 1917 E135 Collins-McCarthy Honus Wagner. The post-war offerings are equally impressive, featuring a 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle rookie card, a 1948-49 Leaf Jackie Robinson rookie, Hank Aaron's 1954 and 1955 Topps rookie cards, a 1955 Topps Sandy Koufax, and a 1952 Topps Eddie Mathews rookie high number. Additionally, there is a 1961 Topps set with 524 of the 572 cards autographed and signed items from legends like Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, and Roberto Clemente.

The auction is open for online bidding until April 4, with initial bids closing at 9 PM ET.
