John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Basketball Hall of Fame, expressed his enthusiasm about the launch of this state-of-the-art exhibit. He highlighted that "The Vault" is a limited-time engagement designed to engage sports fans deeply and reflect the universal appeal of basketball. The exhibit aims to capture the imagination of visitors and honor the rich heritage and ongoing legacy of the Celtics.

The development of "The Vault" was spearheaded by Matt Zeysing, Vice President of Curatorial for the museum. The concept, which has been in the works for over a year, seeks to offer a unique and spectacular viewing experience that basketball fans haven't encountered before. "The Boston Celtics' winning tradition and their current achievements inspired us to gather the most coveted Celtic memorabilia from around the globe," Zeysing stated.

Set within the thematic confines of a bank vault, the exhibit will guide visitors through a narrative journey led by Celtic legends from both past and present. Attendees will explore the essence of "Celtic Pride" through an array of authentic, game-worn jerseys, championship rings, the original 1981 NBA championship trophy, and rare archival footage, among other significant artifacts.
