A one-of-a-kind card featuring two of basketball’s most iconic names just crossed the million-dollar mark.

The 2009 Upper Deck Exquisite Dual Logoman Autograph card of LeBron James and the late Kobe Bryant has sold for an astonishing $1,161,440, including buyer’s premium, via Goldin Auctions. The rare 1-of-1 card, which features on-card autographs and NBA Logoman patches for both players, was graded PSA 6.5 with a PSA 9 auto grade.

Despite the modest condition grade—likely due to the card’s thickness and age—its significance as a historic piece of modern basketball memorabilia more than made up for it. Collectors continue to place premium value on Kobe Bryant autographs, particularly in the wake of his tragic passing in 2020.

This particular card was part of Goldin’s 2025 Spring Elite Auction and drew 11 bids before reaching its final price. But as impressive as the result was, it doesn’t hold the all-time record for a James/Bryant card. That honor belongs to a 2006 Upper Deck Exquisite Triple Logoman (featuring LeBron, Kobe, and Michael Jordan), which sold for $1.68 million in August 2022.

Goldin has a history of offering premium James/Bryant memorabilia. Another dual Logoman autograph—this one from the 2004–05 Upper Deck Exquisite set—sold for $840,000 in June 2023, according to Card Ladder. That card was PSA Authentic with a perfect 10 auto grade.

This latest sale not only cements the growing demand for dual-signed Logoman cards but also reinforces the enduring legacy of both athletes in the hobby. With fewer and fewer premium Kobe Bryant autos surfacing, collectors are showing they’re willing to pay a premium to own a piece of basketball royalty.
