MeiGray, in collaboration with the Los Angeles Lakers, is hosting a charity auction featuring game-worn jerseys from the previous season by stars such as LeBron James, with the aim of supporting the Lakers Youth Foundation. This initiative stems from a game-worn partnership agreement with the Lakers established last year, focusing on raising funds to aid underserved youth through education, health, wellness, and sports programs.

The auction showcases the “Association Edition” white jerseys from a December 2022 game, highlighting a notable performance by James against the Washington Wizards at the STAPLES Center. Among the items available are two game jerseys worn by Russell Westbrook, contributing to the dozen game-worn and game-issued jerseys up for bid until March 28.

In a separate development, Topps has announced an exclusive agreement to produce and distribute official trading cards and stickers for Team GB, representing the Great Britain and Northern Ireland Olympic Team, through 2028. This partnership arrives just as anticipation builds for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, offering fans unique memorabilia of current athletes and Olympian legends.

Amber Jeffries Keel, Senior Licensing and Retail Manager at Team GB, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, anticipating the 2024 Paris Olympics as an almost home event for UK fans. The agreement includes a recently launched boxed set by Topps UK, with future releases planned through traditional packs and the Topps NOW platform, allowing fans to own a piece of Olympic history.
