Collectors and reality TV fans can rejoice—Netflix is bringing back “King of Collectibles: The Goldin Touch” for a third season. The hit series, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at the high-stakes world of collectibles and memorabilia auctions, will continue to follow Ken Goldin and his powerhouse auction house as the industry reaches new heights.
Since its 2023 debut, “King of Collectibles” has made its mark, landing in Netflix’s Top 10 and picking up a Critics Choice Real TV Awards nomination for Best Business Show. While Netflix hasn’t set a release date yet, the show’s return is already generating buzz.
“We are thrilled to be back,” Ken Goldin shared, noting the excitement and growth happening in the collectibles scene. “It is an exciting time in the collectibles industry with new categories emerging, higher stakes and bids, and interest coming from everywhere. We love to share these incredible moments and stories with a wider audience.”
This season, the show will once again be produced by Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios, Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, and Connor Schell’s Full Day Productions, in partnership with eBay. Goldin itself was acquired by eBay in 2024, expanding the brand’s reach well beyond sports cards into categories like pop culture memorabilia—especially with their recent purchase of Studio Auctions, known for rare movie props.
According to Card Ladder, Goldin continues to be a force in the collectibles space, accounting for more than $32 million in June trading card sales, contributing to a record $305 million industry-wide that month.
The collectibles world hasn’t been without its drama, either. Recently, Goldin found itself at the center of a public spat with Fanatics Live CEO Nick Bell, after Bell attempted to promote Fanatics’ own collectible auctions on Ken Goldin’s Instagram page. The move didn’t go over well, adding a bit of off-screen rivalry to an already competitive market. The tension between Goldin and Fanatics only underscores just how fierce—and high-profile—the race for collectibles dominance has become.
As fans await more details on season three, the renewed spotlight on Goldin, his auction house, and the ever-evolving collectibles industry is proof that collecting has never been hotter—or more dramatic.
