Topps is rolling out 2025 Series 2 Baseball this week, and collectors looking for a little extra will want to take note of the Fanatics-exclusive value boxes. These versions pack in more cards, chase-worthy inserts, and a shot at autographed memorabilia.

Unlike the standard retail boxes, Fanatics’ exclusive boxes come with nine packs instead of seven. Each pack contains 12 cards and includes a foil parallel plus a Stars of MLB insert—adding a bit more value to the rip.

Fanatics is once again taking advantage of its stable of player autograph deals to include signed memorabilia redemptions inside select boxes. The promotion first appeared in 2024 and has carried over into this year’s Series 2 product.

Redemption cards are seeded at a rate of 1 in every 261 boxes, which are priced at $29.99. The promotion mirrors what was done earlier this year with the Series 1 value boxes.

All 30 MLB teams are represented through autographs from either past legends or active players. Each redemption corresponds to one signed item per player, including baseballs, bats, mini helmets, jerseys, and photos.

Here are a few of the names and items on the checklist:

  • Ken Griffey Jr. – Signed baseball

  • Cal Ripken Jr. – Signed baseball

  • Wade Boggs – Signed bat

  • Ozzie Smith – Signed mini helmet

  • Paul Skenes – Signed photo

  • Aaron Judge – Signed bat

  • Ichiro Suzuki – Signed baseball

  • Shohei Ohtani – Signed jersey

  • Pete Crow-Armstrong – Signed jersey

  • Bobby Witt Jr. – Signed baseball

These Fanatics-exclusive boxes are currently available through their site while supplies last. Orders are limited to nine boxes per household.

As for the 2025 Topps Series 2 set itself, it adds 350 new base cards, covering players not included in Series 1. Black parallel cards—noticeably absent from the earlier release—return in Series 2 and include players from both Series 1 and 2. The black parallels are numbered to 74, keeping in line with the Topps flagship tradition that began back in 2003.

Collectors chasing hits, building sets, or just looking for a solid rip with added upside will likely find plenty to like with this release.
