It’s official—Cooper Flagg is the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. While the basketball world buzzes over his selection by the Dallas Mavericks, collectors have a new reason to celebrate: Flagg now has his first-ever professional trading card.

To commemorate the moment, Topps NOW has dropped a limited-time release that captures Flagg's historic leap to the league. Known for fast-moving print runs tied to real-world sports moments, Topps NOW wasted no time immortalizing the next big thing in basketball cardboard.

A New Era in Dallas

Flagg’s rise to the top comes after a drama-filled year for the Mavericks, who shocked the league by dealing Luka Doncic to the Lakers midseason. But fortune favored Dallas, who won the lottery and landed the rights to a player many believe could become a generational talent.

The Card Details

The 2025 Topps NOW Cooper Flagg card isn’t just a keepsake—it’s a full-fledged chase. A 1/1 version with a "1st Overall Pick" inscription and Flagg’s autograph headlines the release. Other autographed editions, available via redemption, are numbered to 25, 10, 5, and 1. Two of the cards numbered to 10 will feature the inscription “My First Pro Auto,” making them particularly desirable for early Flagg collectors.

Parallel chasers will have plenty to hunt as well. In addition to the standard base card, foil parallels will be available in the following serial-numbered tiers: /99, /75, /50, /25, /10, /5, and the elusive 1/1 FoilFractor.

Why It Matters

Cooper Flagg has been a name to watch since his high school dominance and standout performances at elite prep showcases. His early cards, including Bowman University and McDonald's All American releases, have already gained traction on the secondary market. The buzz only intensified when Flagg inked an exclusive deal with Topps and Fanatics earlier this year.

This Topps NOW card is more than a draft-night souvenir—it’s the first official professional basketball card for a player expected to redefine the game. It’s available for purchase until June 29 at 8:10 PM EST, giving collectors just a short window to secure a piece of what could be a hobby cornerstone.

Whether you're in it for the autos, the parallels, or just the history, one thing’s for sure: the Cooper Flagg era has officially begun.
