Angel Reese may be in just her second WNBA season, but she’s already carved out a piece of league history. On Tuesday night at Barclays Center, the Chicago Sky forward became the quickest player in WNBA history to reach 30 career double-doubles—accomplishing the feat in just 42 games. Despite her team falling to the New York Liberty 85-66, Reese's 17-point, 11-rebound performance placed her ahead of legends like Lisa Leslie, Candace Parker, and Tina Charles in this statistical milestone.

The achievement comes as her trading cards remain a stable presence in the WNBA hobby market. While not commanding the same soaring prices as Caitlin Clark’s cards, Reese’s rookie offerings have found a steady footing. A PSA 10 copy of her 2024 Panini Prizm Silver card is currently selling for around $100, holding firm after dipping as low as $76 earlier in May.

Her on-court stats this year have been a bit of a mixed bag. Through eight games, Reese is averaging 10.1 points per game on 35 percent shooting—down from her 13.6 points and 39 percent shooting during her rookie season. On the boards, however, she remains elite with 12.1 rebounds per game, along with solid defensive contributions in steals and assists.

Collectors appear to be taking a wait-and-see approach. While her Prizm rookie card has kept value in a competitive market, it’s far behind Caitlin Clark’s PSA 10 Silver card, which recently sold for $5,000. That gap reflects Clark’s dominant media presence and red-hot scoring, but Reese’s impact—especially defensively and on the glass—has carved out her own lane in the league.

Reese's next steps will be critical. If she can lift her scoring efficiency and help lead the Sky to some statement wins, her hobby value could see a boost. And given her historic production already, there’s plenty of reason to believe she’s capable of it.
