The Panini Patrick Mahomes Autograph Collection is a 25-card set that highlights the biggest moments from his first eight seasons in the NFL. For collectors, it also marks Mahomes’ long-awaited return as a Panini autograph signer after a five-year absence.
The collection is spread across multiple Panini football products throughout 2025, ensuring that Mahomes fans will have a reason to chase across the hobby calendar. Every card is hard-signed and produced in runs of 20 copies or fewer, which means the set is both scarce and highly desirable.
The rollout begins with three confirmed cards. The first arrives in Panini Origins, releasing August 27, 2025. This card celebrates Kansas City’s nail-biting 32–29 win over the Buffalo Bills in the 2024 AFC Championship Game, which secured yet another Super Bowl berth.
The second card is slated for Panini Certified on September 26. It highlights Mahomes’ MVP season in 2022, when he led the league with 41 touchdown passes and further cemented his place as one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the game.
The third confirmed card comes in Panini Absolute, with a release date still to be announced. It honors Mahomes’ MVP performance in Super Bowl LVII, where he engineered a game-winning throw with only three seconds left in overtime to defeat the 49ers, 25–22.
Twenty more cards will be released in different products over the course of the year. These will touch on everything from Super Bowl victories and MVP awards to unforgettable games and iconic plays. For a quarterback who has already won two league MVPs, three Super Bowls, and three Super Bowl MVPs before turning 30, there’s no shortage of highlights to draw from.
The final two cards in the set will be made available through Panini Instant. One uses the photo from the 2017 Rookie Premiere, the same shot that appeared on Mahomes’ Donruss rookie card. The other captures his now-famous left-handed pass against Denver on Monday Night Football in 2018, a play that instantly became part of Mahomes’ growing legend.
