Absolute has long been the break that gives you a little of everything. The 2025 edition sticks to that promise with a compact hobby box and plenty of headline cards. You get 15 total cards split across three packs. Five of those are hits, with one Rookie Premiere Materials Autograph, two more autographs, and two memorabilia cards. That mix is why the product feels lively even when you only crack a single box.
The base set blends veteran stars with the incoming rookie class and leans on a deep run of colorful parallels, including the Spectrum versions that have become a favorite. A typical hobby box yields six base cards, one rookie, and two parallels, so team and player collectors can make steady progress while they chase the big pulls.
Memorabilia is a core part of Absolute’s identity and it shows up in familiar lanes. Tools of the Trade returns with multi-swatch layouts. Absolute Heroes brings a spotlight to established names. Ground Hoggs gives the ground game its due with relics tailored to rushers. Ink shows up in more places than the Rookie Premiere program too, with sets like All-Pro Souvenir Signatures adding veteran autographs to the mix.
There is also a special nod to the modern era. Absolute will carry the next card from the Patrick Mahomes Autograph Collection, this time celebrating his second Super Bowl MVP. It fits the product’s habit of weaving current storylines into premium hits.
Kaboom remains the chase that stops a room. Horizontal and Vertical versions continue, and the newer Super Bowl Kabooms add another target for case hunters. Glass 1-of-1s are back as well, giving collectors a true unicorn to talk about on release day.
