Panini is bringing a festive twist to the football card collecting scene with the 2024 Score-a-Treat Football release, designed with Halloween in mind. Though initially intended for trick-or-treaters, these Halloween-themed cards are likely to capture the interest of collectors as well.
Taking inspiration from the recent trend of holiday-themed trading cards, like Pokémon's Halloween packs, Panini has reimagined its main 2024 Score Football release with a spooky seasonal flair. Similar to Topps' holiday-themed baseball parallels, these cards offer a fresh take on familiar designs.
The 2024 Score-a-Treat Football set features a 349-card checklist, including 300 veteran players and 49 Rising Stars. The cards have undergone a Halloween makeover, incorporating elements like jack-o'-lanterns and cobwebs into their design. Additionally, collectors will find unique parallels that can be identified by their themed borders, such as Pumpkins, Bats, and Trick or Treat.
