Leaf’s Trinity Mega Box Baseball returns for 2024 with a stripped-down checklist that still offers plenty of firepower. Instead of juggling a dozen inserts and parallel types, the product sticks to a straightforward formula: a base set, one memorabilia relic set, and one insert line. Even with the smaller structure, there are still big names, top prospects, and rare hits to hunt down.
Each box contains 10 cards, and collectors can count on one Rookie Relics card and two Steel cards. The Steel cards are the true draw here, carrying dozens of variations, including tough one-of-ones.
The base checklist comes in at 99 cards, and with seven per box, completing the run isn’t an overwhelming task. The lineup mixes Hall of Famers like Ken Griffey Jr., Rickey Henderson, and Pete Rose with current stars such as Dylan Crews and Nick Kurtz. Prospects like Druw Jones, Travis Bazzana, and Charlie Condon give the set even more future upside.
Rookie Relics spotlight 67 different players, with Jesus Made among the highlights. The Steel insert set, however, is where collectors will focus most of their attention. Every player in the base set has Steel cards, and each one comes in 60 variations. Print runs range from Silver cards numbered to 290 all the way down to multiple red and gold one-of-ones.
Steel parallels also come in a wide mix of foil finishes, including Lava, Lazer, Stars and Dots, Checkerboard, Donut Circles, and Shimmer.
