2024 Baseball Cards: What to Expect

When it comes to MLB baseball cards, Fanatics is in control. They hold exclusive card rights to both the league and its players, which means that their Topps and Bowman brands are the only ones offering MLB logos, trademarks, and large numbers of current players.

This list only represents fully licensed products. Other companies are also making 2024 baseball cards, such as Panini, which holds licenses for USA Baseball and some collegiate products. In 2023, after losing their MLBPA license, Panini shifted to products highlighting prospects and retired stars while continuing some familiar brands.

Other companies like Leaf and Onyx Authenticated are also producing 2024 baseball cards, providing more options for collectors.

Starting last year, Fanatics changed how they announce their upcoming releases. Information on new sets is often provided only about a month before they come out—sometimes less. If you don’t see a product listed in the 2024 baseball card release calendar below, it doesn't mean it’s been canceled. It simply means that nothing has been announced yet.
